Meet the faculty management team at Asphalt U.

Roscoe has a BA in Marketing from the University of Louisville School of Business. After a few years in the field, he became Quality Control Technician and shortly thereafter went on to Estimating and Project Management. One of his larger undertakings was overseeing the I-65 project that is a major artery into downtown Louisville. In 2013, Hall Contracting brought him on board to build their paving division. Roscoe is a member of the Building Industry Association (BIA), the Louisville Apartment Association (LAA) and he serves on his neighborhood Homeowners Association. In his spare time he and his wife can be found waiting in carpool lines or helping at sporting events for their four children.

Arno grew up in the asphalt industry. He started in 2005 in commercial construction as a laborer, then started surveying and now concentrates on project management and sales. He brought his wealth of experience to the Hall team in 2015. When not dealing with the day-to-day issues of asphalt, Arno can be found improving his putting game on one of Louisville’s fine golf courses.

Andrew hails from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Science Degree and a Master of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering. He spent seven years with Louisville’s Metro Public Works overseeing the resurfacing and roadway safety improvement programs before joining Hall in 2016. Andrew is a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Following in the footsteps of his dad, Andy brings over 10 years of asphalt industry experience to the table. His background includes both field supervision and project management. A Trinity High and University of Louisville graduate, his ‘down-time’ is spent with his family.

Eric grew up in his family’s asphalt business. By age sixteen he was operating all the paving equipment as well as doing prep work. At twenty-two he became Estimator and Office Manager. At 26, he was a co-owner, expanding the business to include an on-site asphalt plant. In 1996, the business was purchased and he continued on to manage the asphalt division. In 2014 he brought his extensive experience to Hall. Eric and his wife volunteer with Home of the Innocents as therapeutic foster parents and works with kids through Project Keep Safe. He is the proud dad of 5 children and can talk for hours about his 6 grandchildren.

Charles graduated from St. X here in Louisville and went on to attend Speed Scientific School and then took graduate courses in Public Administration at Harvard. He started working for a construction company before spending 25 years with the Jefferson County Public Works Department as District Supervisor and then as Chief Public Works Inspector before joining Hall Paving as a Project Manager. In his ‘off time’ he enjoys reading about Civil War and WWII history and when the weather cooperates, gardening gets his attention.

Steve spent 41 years working in Law Enforcement in Jefferson County before becoming Director of Loss Prevention for one of the largest commercial, industrial and business center land developers in the Midwestern US with headquarters here in Louisville. Looking for a new challenge, he then got into the construction and paving industry landing at Hall in 2015 where he is responsible for Business Development.

Jordan joined our Quality Control team in 2005, dividing his time between the lab and field to ensure our mixes are meeting the highest standards. His passion for Research and Development is reflected in his continuing search for new and state of the art mixtures and additives to make sure Hall is providing the most sustainable and eco-friendly product available. Jordan is the father of five and is an associate pastor at his church and is working on his Masters of Divinity.
